Hi Guys

the first thing to note is.

the account being created defaults to country = Algeria or similar
which means you do not need to enter your zip code



As I stated in the readme file

when you get a new piece of kit.

do a basic test first

with this software

start it..

enter a password

(note, 2 cusomters have asked me what the password is.. there is not password to operate this software you ENTER your own password, which will be used to create this MSN account)

NOTE:

The title of the First article is what we use to create the account name for this MSN account.

The errors people are getting are by using titles that are not suitable to create an account.

Please test it now

like this

start software

enter password

click on Add Article

in title enter exactly this below

in the body enter exactly below

in the URL field. enter your full domain name e.g. Something.

then click on Add article

Then click on Start


Now while it is running

Keep this software application on top , ie Active, the software needs to be active for it to work

now watch it run

when the larger window opens up

wait a sec.

then scroll down till you see the captcha image

in the top Captcha Field enter the letters and numbers displayed in the captcha image

Then click on the Enter Captcha Button

thats it

you will see it works perfect


now move on to adding your own article

try just one

if it gets stuck

its a problem with the title you are using..

try reducing the size of the title in the first article

It takes only a little playing around with to get used to, then its a total breeze

More:

another possible error

is that MSN is not accepting your password

make sure your password is at least 8 characters

and has letters AND Numbers in it.

e.g if msn thinks your password is not strong or good enough, the software will fail, as msn will not pass to the next stage

Same problem.

I can log into LiveSpaces and make an account, so it ain't that my IP is blocked, as has happened before with other apps.

The software is not loading the right page: res://shdoclc/syntax.htm#http :/// general/hom

One question, should the Live Blog app have the same icon, the globe, as the first two apps? Mine does not, just a generic icon. I wondered if I had a corrupt download but a second download and reinstall did not bring a globe or functioning app.

then paste into paint

What Ver of IE?

try updating IE to the latest version this may help

I can't get this to work. I have added a password with letters and numbers. I have upgraded to IE7. I am using XP SP2. I have tried using both of Pete's examples and it doesn't work. When I enter the capta I can see the information being entered but it won't produce a blog. Just get account being created.

I can't get this to work either. I have read your examples. When it asks to put in the capture, there is nothing below to put in. It looks like there is a page listed below on to Get Windows live. If I type in 8 characters in the capture , I will get it to say"creating account", but of course nothing happens here. I just can't get it to show me the capture to type in.

Please advise!

can you make sure you are logged out of the MSN site.. log out of your MSN messenger

make sure your IE is updated to the current release

try agian

if you get these same errors

How long does it take to create the blog? The program will roll through the Captcha just fine. Create the account just fine. Then sit there creating the blog for at least 5 minutes, with one article. I stop the program. Check the Spaces account. No blog created. My link has been added under the Custom List heading though. Tried it twice and it didn't work.

Oh and when I add the article to the box, the bottom part of the article cannot be seen. No scroller window to get to the bottom.

Also the desktop icon for this program is just that blue windows box with the little arow in the bottom left. Default kind. No pretty graphics like say the GEO Explosion software.

Article Title for both tries was: Nintendo Wii
The article was typical 7 paragraphs of PLR garbage. Nothng fancy just text.

I was logged out of MSN.

I can't seem to post HTML. If I load up the software with articles straight from code in Dreamweaver it will not create the blog.

If I post straight text. The blogs will post just fine.

Without the "BR" it just posts a big old block of text. Ugly. Anyway, If I go to the new blog account and switch to HTML I can paste in the article HTML with no problem.

Blogger, Geocity and Yahoo 360 software wasn't a problem.

Logged out of Messenger, and exited from the program. No icon shows in my tray.

I opened your Spaces.Live app.

I created password of 9 characters includg 7 letters and 2 numbers.

For title, I used:
test article one

Article content was 5 lines all the same as the title.

Then the URL which I apparently cannot reproduce here due to insufficient posts (which incidentally is not very helpful at a time like this).

A few moments later, I entered the captcha text in the top box.

But then it stalled with a red warning text above the captcha. I double checked the accuracy of my typing of the captcha.

Am now stuck, needing a way forward.

I use Firefox but cant think why that would be relevant.

What else to look at?

today I tried to use extreme live to create msn blog. I just test one article with 3 keywords as title, msn account seems Ok, but creating blog isn't going. Just sit there forever.

I don't have msn blog account. This is the first msn account I tried to create.

What I should do to get the tool to work right?

Pete, I have IE v7.0.5730.11 installed but I use Firefox so IE usually remains closed. Must it be open for your script to work?
