Why does it seem thearticlesense.com isn't indexed

Hello
When I go to thearticlesense.com and look at the page rank on Google toolbar, it looks as though the site hasn't been indexed.
Does anyone know the reason for this?

Hi Phoenix,

Google PR and being indexed are different things.

Currently there are 3,260 TheArticleSense pages has been indexed and the number is increasing....

use site:thearticlesense.com to check how many pages has been indexed.

Thanks for your response.
I understand that page rank and having a site indexed are two different things, but I know that when you first register a domain, the page rank bar is the same brownish color as the Google toolbar itself.
Once the domain is showing up when a Google search is done for it(which, I thought meant it is now indexed), the page rank bar is all white, at least that happens with the domains/websites that I have had.
Now, a couple of hours later, thearticlesense.com has a page rank of 1.
When I noticed the page rank bar before, I could have been on a page other than the main page, but I don't think so. That is very strange if that is the case.
Oh well, just curious about such things.

Okay, maybe it was because I went to the main page from my account.

yes its a brand new site.. we only started working on it 3 weeks ago. thus its only PR 1.. wait till the next PR update in 3 to 4 months, it should have nice PR then
