When do articles get submitted

I just joined and have a question that I can't find the answer to anywhere, and I looked everywhere.

I submitted 7 articles yesterday. I just checked them in Manage Articles and it says 0 clicks and blank impressions. I didn't expect to start making money right away, but I thought they might have at least been seen once by now.

What do the clicks and impressions counters mean? How long does it take an article to get into the network?
